The Vaults of the Order is a community project, created by the fandom of the Ars Magica Roleplaying Game. It is co-ordinated by Timothy Ferguson.
It is fan work, which is not for profit, and does not challenge the rights of any of the holders of any of the intellectual properties referred to in the site.
In May 2014 the Metropolitan Museum of Art released 400 000 images for non-commercial use, through the Open Access For Scholarly Content program. This site uses those images to illustrate imaginative histories for items from within the game’s setting. We believe this blog to be a self-published, non-commercial, book in electronic format, and so within the guidelines provided.
Fans of Ars Magica wanting to contribute to the site should make themselves known on the game’s official forum. We wish to note that this project is not endorsed by Atlas Games.
